Biography

Robert Bosisio (b.1963 in Trodena, Bolzano, Italy) currently works and lives in Trodena and Berlin. By exploring the line between reality and the mystical, Robert Bosisio creates his works through subtle shifts of light. His delicate, multi-colored brushstrokes add depth beyond the flat canvas. Balancing representation and abstraction, he continuously revisits and transforms his subjects, guiding shapes and colors into a metaphysical realm.

His works have been featured in prominent exhibitions across the globe. From the Venice Biennale to the BP Portrait Award at London’s National Portrait Gallery, his art has reached audiences in Europe, Asia, North America, and China. Notable presentations include solo and group shows at Haus Wittgenstein in Vienna, Art Center Hugo Voeten in Belgium, Art of This Century Gallery in New York, and cultural institutions in Tokyo, Cluj-Napoca, and Shenzhen.
